Alexander Gornyi is CIO at Mail.ru in Russia. He started his career as developer in Mail.ru. Later he was Director of Software Development Department at Rambler and Deputy CEO at Media World (part of RosBusinessConsulting Holding). In 2010 he returned to Mail.ru as Head of ICQ, the world famous internet instant messenger product, based in Tel-Aviv, Israel. Last year he went back to Moscow and is now the CIO of Mail.ru.
